1. “The Nicest Little Stop on the Way Home”

"...We arrived late in the evening en route back from Louisburg to be greeted delightfully by our hostess, who made us feel very welcomed, and even helped us out with directions to find some wine and cheese to wind down our long drive. Our kids (8/10) loved that they got their own room with twin beds, and we had a peaceful night, a delightful breakfast (they are both picky eaters) and friendly conversation before we left to drive back to Boston.

Donny and Janice are warm and friendly hosts who almost felt like family by the time we left."

4. “Favorite B&B Truro, Nova Scotia”

"...Three of us including one 7 year old stayed 2 days with Donnie and Janice Tobin of Eagle's Landing B&B in Truro, Nova Scotia. We loved it! They were very friendly and extended themselves way beyond their hosting duties. Despite the weather we were close to Victoria Park, ate at La Cucina (excellent food and prices very, very reasonable!!) and the Kiwanis Park a hop, skip, and a jump from the B&B. Janice is a wonderful cook. Both Donnie and Janice were so warm, easygoing and genuinely interested in pleasing their guests.
Extremely clean; always asked if we needed more towels, ice pillows, you name it--it was offered.Excellent prices, amazing hosts. Close to Victoria Park, Tidal Bore, Superstore for snacks and yes the Fundy Mall.We will definitely return next summer and stay longer. You'll be very pleased with your stay. Cheers and safe travels!!!"

5. “An unforgettable stay in Nova Scotia”

"...My husband and I just returned from Nova Scotia where we stayed at our first Bed and Breakfast. What a wonderful experience. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary.

What a fabulous place to stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. Don and Janice were very accommodating. I couldn't believe the wonderful breakfasts she made every morning. I am diabetic and she made me appropriate food to stay on my special diet. Her muffins are to die for. She even had muffins and preserves made with splenda. Janice and Don were both warm and friendly people who made you feel at home in their house. We were sad to say goodbye the day we had to leave. We will certainly miss all your interesting stories.

I couldn't say enough good things about this wonderful B&B to our friends and family when we got home. I would recommend this place to anyone. We will certainly go back another time. I don't think we will ever find another B&B as nice as this one or with such nice people.

We highly recommend Eagles Landing in Truro, Nova Scotia. It is a real treat to stay there. The price is very reasonable."

6. “Pure Magic !”
"...What Magic ! The room was beautiful, very roomy with the ensuite bathroom. I must say it was also very clean and my bed sheets were definitely ironed. My hosts "the Tobin's" were more than kind and Mrs. Tobin can sure make a magical breakfast! I was there for a very dear friends wedding, and the Tobin's made me feel right at home. The B & B is beautifully decorated with a wonderful deck to sit out on. I would recommend this B & B to anyone and I hope to return in the near future." Carol Harper (London, Ontario Canada)

8. “Loved Eagle's Landing B&B”

"...We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 4 days! The rooms are beautifully furnished and spacious and the breakfasts are great! The Tobins are wonderful hosts. They are extremely helpful when advice or recommendations are needed, yet they give you lots of "space" and you often feel that you have the house to yourself. We started our Nova Scotia trip with them and returned for our last night with them before flying out. It felt like coming home for that last night! We highly recommend Eagles' Landing!"
